The Result Of falling In love and Losing My Practice
I have been calm, cool, and
collected for decades. The way I look at life is so ambiguous that, bound
only by the six vows that underlay all my equations, nothing much surprises me
really, and I can't remember feeling confusion since I joyfully took those vows
a quarter of a century ago. No shit. I guess I reached the end of feeling
celibate, and by extension the idea of my vow of poverty is completely
untenable 'cause Cindarella is going to need a lot of dough to make me into a
money making kind of artist.
Fortunately I have been stockpiling
all sorts of artwork in my monastic period, A dozen books, maybe 70 or a hundred
paintings and other created art objects completed or in progress. I have scads
of poetry, half a dozen blogs in play, and 128 videos up on my 02powergirl
YouTube channel linked also on every header above.
Of course I read a lot too,
presently Wittgenstein's philosophy for pleasure, Kipling's Kim for nostagia and joy;
Neruda's Macchu Pichu for fun in language. The magical guitar is back together
and sounds great, no buzz at all cranked all the way up. I have a freakin' ton
of material documenting this project and it just rolls as a happy spell, and it
ties all of my life in a common thread. Even my 'Nigerian' Facebook Bride is a
talented church organist, and outside church a singer and dancer! I've been a visual
artist till now, but feel music coming on me every time I lay my eyes on
Cindarella Cole!
